Day One

My life for God. God created me not for my own designs, but to serve him. My purpose is whatever He wants it to be.

"You were made by God and for God - and until you understand that, life will never make sense."

Thoughts
Feeling very self-centered lately. Realised that this book - this chapter - could not have come at a better time. I need to shift the focus from myself to God.

Difficulties
This book gets right into it; it's obviously easier said than done to accept the idea that my life is not for me but for Him. (After all, I think it's in human nature to be self-directed, but then again religion is a Human thing also) (does that make sense?)
I consider myself a novice Christian (if there is such a thing) - my faith is definitely shakeable, it's not solid at all! Which is why I wanted to learn more about Him. I'm lost, for sure, and I'm glad He is bringing me into the light.
